Preventing discrimination in the workplace
The Equality Act section 6 c states that employers are obliged to prevent in a purposeful and planned manner all discrimination based on gender identity or gender expression. This obligation also concerns services provided by municipalities, regions and the state, such as social welfare and health services and sports services. To prevent discrimination, in the provision of public services it must be ensured that the service has been organised in a way that is inclusive to gender minorities.
