Assessment and follow-up

Part of the equality work carried out in the educational institution is also a review of how measures to promote equality that have been agreed upon previously were implemented.

The review of the measures can include a study of whether the measures have been adequate and, if the intended objectives have not been met, an examination of the reasons for this. In practice it makes sense to do the review while updating the equality plan, and the review can also function as a basis when preparing new measures.

If the equality plan has been drafted for two or three years, the implementation of measures should be reviewed annually.
