Annual Report 2020 by the Ombudsman for Equality has been released
The Annual Report 2020 by the Ombudsman for Equality describes the Ombudsman's work: monitoring prohibitions of discrimination and promotion of gender equality. As in previous years, most enquiries related to employment concerned discrimination due to pregnancy and family leave and dsicrimination in recruitment.
There was an increase in the enquiries received by the Ombudsman for Equality in 2020 regardless of the coronavirus pandemic. The number of enquiries related to discrimination grew by approximately 35 %.
