The Annual Report 2021 by the Ombudsman for Equality

The Ombudsman for Equality submitted the Annual Report 2021 by the Ombudsman for Equality to the Minister of Nordic Cooperation and Equality Thomas Blomqvist on 21th June, 2022.

The Annual Report describes the work of the Ombudsman for Equality: the report covers examples of enquiries received by the Ombudsman concerning for example discrimination based on pregnancy and family leaves, pay discrimination, discrimination in recruitment, parents' alternating residence arrangements and military service.

In 2021, the Ombudsman for Equality issued a number of statements to Parliament and 
the authorities in 2020. Examples of such statements requested are provided in report.
